About Us
Catchy melodies and intricate rhythms accompanied with dynamic performances are what have created The Last Armada’s unique sound. Based in Guelph, ON, The Last Armada is a 4-piece rock group with Ryan Ahlers on lead vocals, Trick Vilbar on guitar and backing vocals, Brent Wilson on bass and backing vocals, and Mitchell Staffen on drums. Each member has been a musician for most of their life, and brings their own influences to the table. Hints of Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, John Mayer, and many more can be heard in their music. Their songs tell relatable stories of love, loss, loneliness and addiction. Their live shows are dynamic; consisting of heavy and lighter moments with a tasteful amount of improvisation. The Last Armada has released 3 singles: "Hannah", "Bittersweet" and "Hush", as well as a live session of their song "Night" on Youtube. Their debut EP will be released in spring 2024.
